.l The clock ticks on, ever telling its story of time. Minutes come and go, each new one bringing something different and interesting. Every second writes its own little word in the book of life. It is for this reason that we of the Oracle Staff have sought the clock for our story of life at Ebensburg-Cambria High School, the clock whose face looks out upon every class room. We have gone to this silent watcher for a time picture of life in our school. In our search we have found, not a formal gathering of book worms and sul- len-faced scholars, but a jovial group of students mixing fun and the pursuit of knowledge with very pleasing results. Sports, clubs, classes, dances, parties, plays ---all are inseparable constituents of the too quickly passing day. Now, however, our aim has been ac- complished. We have made our observa- tions and have attempted to capture some of the reality of the fleeting moments by making from them memories that shall never fade or die --- The Oracle. With these in mind, we present our book as a close-up of students and their activities. May this Oracle ever bring back fond memories of exciting football and basket ball games, plays, the Spirit, music rehearsals, club meetings, and classes and may you treasure it more with the passing of years.
