Officers Gayl Brooks, President Joan Gray, Vice-President Mary Chase, Secretary Cincleralla Brooks, Treasurer Junior Class 50f,:--A Ring Thing! is just another phase in the lives of the swinging juniors dedicated to the ideal that united they'll stand to conquer the challenges that confront them as juniors.' Under the leadership of.their efficient class officers, the juniors plan exciting activities that involve everyone's participation. - juniors sometimes wonder if it's really worth all the work writing up six chemistry experi- ments and ten sheets of homework in one night . .. trying to figure out how they would devise a famous Parallel Postulate if they had been Euclid .... memorizing our forty-eleven candidates, their parties and platforms in the election of' something or other misinterpreting the philoso- phies of Emerson and Thoreau . . . taking the first crack at the SATg a combination of next year's math course, last week's English vocabulary which they promptly forgot, and some technical points that never will be understood. But two important events make the work seem worth it: ordering and receiving class rings and most important the junior-Senior Prom making plans raising funds decorating and attending. Second in status only to the highly respected Seniors, the juniors radiate warmth and ingenuity that contribute to the buoyant school spirit at C.S.H.S. A hardworking group, they strive for the best and never seem to lack the energy to take on new and difficult endeavors, Only the greatest rewards can await the Class of '71, Class Mascot
