SENIORS REIGN SUPREME ON CALVERTS COURT Calvert's class of 1970 has left quite a history behind it. The mighty seniors entered C.S.H.S. in 1966. For two years, the class was separated: half of it being at the annex while the other half was at the main building. This limited the amount of activities the class could organize. In 1968, the class was united as juniors. Our prime responsibility became that of organizing the junior-Senior Prom, The class sponsored various activities in order to raise money: a candy campaign, a movie, two dances, including the Miss C.S.H.S. Pageant, two car washes, and a spectacular car rally. Through these various activities, we were able to produce the 1969 Prom, Tahitian Holiday. Then, our year was here at last. It promised to be fillfd with fun and excitement but only through hard work. The first major event of our senior year was the taking of senior portraits. Graduation was brought closer when announce- ments and name cards were selected and ordered. Fittings for caps and gowns made us realize that we would soon be on our own. Our indi- vidual thoughts were varied. Some of us eagerly awaited college acceptances. Others made plans for future employment. Many looked forward to enlisting in the service and planning marriage. But we still had much work ahead before june 12, 1970 would arrive. So, seniors try to make their last year their best. They work for seniors privileges and other projects that identify them as the top class in the school. Seniors hold the main offices and are the most active members in almost all of the organizations in the school. Seniors are cap- tains of the teams and the cheerleaders. These are among many of our senior memories. All of these help to prove that the Class of '70 truly reigned supreme.
