The C.S.H.S. chapter of the National Honor Society is dedicated to those ideals exemplified in the following four areas: Scholarship, Character, Leadershipg and Service. The members of this organization encourage all students to at- tain and maintain these ideals. Each year the NHS has two inductions to recognize the students who have achieved these goals. Membership in the NHS is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon any high school student. These students displayed their interest by sponsoring a teacher's talent show and donating money to help some Calvert Countains have a merrier Christmas. Mrs. Ann Brown And Staff Do Fine Job The major objective of the Campus Cour- ier is to convey the news. It serves as the organ of opinion and as a medium of enter- tainment, and also ful- fills the need-the right -of the students, teach- ers, and community in knowing what Calvert Senior High School is doing. The Campus Courier assumes the role of watchman of the school. It reports on sports events, dances, student likes and dislikes, and teacher personalities. This year the paper was sponsored by Mrs. Ann Brown. An English teacher most of the day, Mrs. Brown worked hard for the Campus Courier and made it a success in 1969-70.
