Asslkfanf Pfl7lC6Ddf Father Dunn, humorous and sincere, goes about his work very quietly. His personality is such that it a student needs advice on a problem, small or large, he feels free to go to Father. He knows Father is willing to go out of his way to help the students, whether they are freshmen or seniors. Father Dunn's classes in Religion come first, but he still takes an active interest in all the extra-curricular activities. Our assistant principal finds time to take care of each individual person. The students of Calvert are greatly indebted to our assistant principal, Father Dunn, for the aid he has given us in spiritual and temporal affairs. REV. EDWARD C. DUNN, M. A. Board of flf5'Cdf fonfrol Calvert students owe the pastors of St. Mary's and St. .loseph's Parishes a deep debt of gratitude for the interest that they have shown towards our almost-completed Calvert. Not only are our pastors concerned with the structure of the new building, but also they are attentive to the needs of Calvert students, especially their spiritual welfare. Recently Monsignor Kinnane and Father Gabel revealed their personal interest in the build- ing by participating in the inspection of it. Continually requesting financial aid from their parishes, they have been providing the means that kept our high school operating smoothly and made the dream of a new building a reality. During the last tour years, Father Shenk, our principal, has spent the greater part of his time providing tor the spiritual and educational needs of the Calvert students. Spiritually, Father Shenk has done all in his power to guide the students in the right path- the path ot true Christian living. Temporally, Father has considered every detail of our new school so that all would be in ex- cellent condition when the new building openedg he spent many hours with the regular workers and thus gave this year's graduating class a few weeks in the new Calvert. We realize that teaching, supervising the construction ot the new Calvert, and taking a personal interest in every student at Calvert is a real job, but Father Shenk has gladly given his time and effort in making our school days really worth-while. We wish to thank Father Shenk for truly being a Father to us. 6
