Second weelc was dreaded by all Freshmen, for il was lni+ia'rion. Aller slruggling Through lhis weelc, which was climaxed by 'rhe Freshman Recepiion, ihey were formally accepied as sludenfs, of which ihey were proud. The principal aclivily of 'rhe Freshman' Class was lhe Freshman Relurn Dance. The lheme was l-lalloween and a spooky almosphere prevailed ihroughoul lhe dance. This dance was given 'ro show apprecialion lo 'rhe Sophomores and +he olhers of C.l-l.S. ll was a huge success and showed lhe sludenls whal 'rhe class of '50 could do. Anoiher of The evenls sponsored by The Freshmen was an A.S.B. program. play enliiled, The Mean Widdle Kid, by +he Nolasco sisiers, was 'rhe principal fealure.

Their nexr aciiviry was 'rhe Chrisr- mas Parry given by rhern for rhe school on December 20. Spring acriviries were The dance held on March 22, and rhe sponsoring of Jrhe school picnic. They also gave rheir own class picnic. The dance and rhe picnics were a big success.
