The meet detente With the Soviet Union, along with the space link-up, and China gave eo of peace. While the movie ‘Jaw: voked fear, its sheer starkness Brake nearly every box-office record. Actually, muc of the “ugly” signaled an end to some sad stories and the beginning of better times. The nasty facets of Watergate and the acts of the FBI-CIA were uncovered. Even the end of the Vietnam war had its sad and happy moments. The desperate search for Patty Hearst finally came to a quiet end.
