Jazz may have come into its prime during the 19205 and captured the souls of many, creating a brief but flashy lljazz generationl'. But, the jazz beat has a jitter that excites everyoncls music center and jams on, even in the midst of the Disco 7055. In testimony to this was the fourth annual llSuperjam in March. If someone is said to be ufull of hot airll, it means they donlt talk about or do things worth noting. But do not think that the hot air in the Wind Ensemble members is worthless; in fact, itis their talent. For all the hot air blown into the instruments comes out in tunes which are soft and mellowing or full and stimulating.
