The F oothllls Athletlc ASSOCl3.t10H has Just completed lts 47th year
under the excellent leadershlp of Pres1dent Sanfoid Diamond who
preslded at the meet1ngs arranged commlttees f01 the F A A Banquet
and Dance and did many other duties that he had to perform Also w1th
the help of the officers the F A A ran moie smoothly and with excellent
cooperation Hubert Becher our Chlef Candy Master with the help of
Ronald Atkins Assistant Candy Master Worked xery hard and spent most
of h1s tlme trying to keep the candy store going and making the best of
everythlng Troy Davenport our Treasurel also had a busy year taking
care of the accounts and maklng reports of the balance money on hand
etc at our monthlx meetings We also commend Donald Ingraham who
IS our Sports Edltor for the splendld Work he did ln writing about the
games and cooperating with the Sports Edltor of the Oakland Trlbune IH
gettlng our publ1c1ty 1n the papers We the members of the F A A are
really proud of what our officeis have accompl1shed thls year
The purpose of the associatlon IS to glue valuable knowledge pertalmng
to business meetungs and parliamentary procedures as IS done 11n all soclal
organlzatlons It also teaches the boys how to manage the candy StOl9
The hlghlight most enjoyable and most colorful ex ent of the year was
February 19 1949 It vsas enJox ed by the guests and students xx ho attended
