L. Society was established two years ago by Mr. Vernon Sterling Birck, the dean of boys. The name D. A. H. L. stands for Duty, Ambition, Honor and Loyalty. This society is composed of older boys. They have special duties to perform and the society is improving in every way. . . , 1

FOOTHILLS ATHLETIC ASSCCIATION QThe Foothills Athletic Association, the leading student organization, had a banner year under the able leadership of President Specht. This association was founded in 1902 by Mr. Winfield S. Rundc and has gained in significance each year of its existence. 'On February 22 the Foothills Athletic Association Banquet and Dance, biggest social event of the season, was held. The banquet took place in the Primary Dining Room Where a magnificent dinner was given. Mr. Runde and Mr. Howson, retiring teachers, made speeches. Medals were presented to Theobaldo Ruffa and Mamoru Oto, graduating gridders, and to Coaches Byouk and Parks in recognition of their many years of service as coaches of our athletic teams. After the banquet, the dance was held in the Assembly Hall, and it was voted a big success by all the members of the faculty and all the students present.
