Warmly Dedicated to . . . Geoffrey Ten Sok Chow was born on July 3 1 , 1 928 in Hilo, Hawaii. He gradu- ated from Hilo High School and then went to work to help support his family until he was drafted in 1951 and served in the Korean War, where he was sta- tioned in Japan. Two years later, Geoffrey attended the University of Hawaii, where he met his wifeto-be, Karen. On A ugust 1 3, 1 955, he and Karen were married. They later moved to San Francisco, Ca., where he studied at San Francisco State for 6 months. Geoffrey then decided to finish his schooling at Colorado State. There he received his B.A. and M.A. degrees. In 1 958, he and his wife moved to California and two years later their daugh- ter Sharon was born. Mr. Chow has been teaching at Calhi since 1957 and has been Varsity Golf Coach since 1972. He and Karen are involved in many social clubs and last year, he was President of the Suburban Optimist Club of Buena Park. He is cur- rently President ot the Top Flite Golf Club. He enjoys bowling, dancing, golfing and of course, teaching. 16 Dedication
