Carl Schurg California High School has set its ideals high, the top is our goal. A quick start has been made, however, a good start does not insure a strong finish. Only through constant effort directed toward those high ideals in athletics, academics, and activities, may we chart a course of notable standards for those who follow. I imagine every President feels his cabinet was the best. Yet, l must include Congress, Judicial Branch, Class Councils, and the entire student body, faculty, and administration, in my sincere and deep- est thanks for a wonderful year as President. Sincerity and a good nature are traits that make this varsity football player a favorite of the Calhi students.
