FOREWORD School memories are invaluable and desirous for all of us in years that are to come. Fate has decreed that oftentimes these memories so dear to us shall fade, wither, and almost die away. To so paint in words and picture the events of the year as to have them stamped for- ever upon our memories is the pur- pose of this book. May you always look back with pride to dear old CALHAN SCHOOL.

TO THE SENIORS: I offer my love and respect and my most sincere wish that life for each of you will be a fine and challenging experience. I am sure that as the years move on, you will find this book a source of Treasured Memories. Perhaps the class of 67 is just a bit of a special class for me, for with this class many of my dreams for Calhan High are solidly established and beginning to come true. I want to thank each of you for your own individual and special contributions toward this achievement. You have done so much to honor our school and to create new and better heart that I salute you--and say TO THOSE OF US WHO REMAIN BEHIND, we will meet the challenges of the future, and in meeting them grow into places left vacant by those who are departing. Let us resolve, here and now that, together, we will make the future even brighter than the present.
