Calhan School Our Calhan School, we think, is the very best school in this country. It is the school where we have studied, played, and learned to live and to take our place in society. May we do it well. We will always treasure this book with all the records and memories that lie between its covers.

The worth of every act or achievement is meas- ured in the results achieved. In all aspects of formal education perhaps our measurements of students should not come until several years after graduation when we can actually see some of the results. Although this annual is compiled this year, its real purpose is in becoming a ’’memory book” for future use. In referring to this book, each individual will be able to establish his own personal measurement of growth by comparing himself with a previous time. When teacher grades are no longer given and the in- dividual ’’grades” himself, the real value of the ed- ucation he received will then be tested. This is the most important test you will be called on to pass. MR. LYNCH, Superintendent Board of Education OUR THANKS to these people who so willingly give their time to help make our school a better one. They have put forth much effort to improve the educational advantages for all of us. Their interests in us, and in all those who are following us, are very much appreciated. 4 H. K. FOSHA, President EDWARD GLASER, Director HARRY McQUEEN, Treasurer MRS. BUCKNER, Office CHARLOTTE WALBERG, Secretary ALBERT KOBILAN, Director
