The pups crossed the Colorado river twice to defeat the Iunior Criminals, while trouncing the Holtville 's in their only league victory. They were defeated by El Centro and Calipatria and tied by Brawley. Iohnny Polos, fullback, and Raymond Piiia, right tackle, won places on the All-Valley eleven. The team was coached by Nlr. A. A coronation ceremony was held in the auditorium, with Richie Felix, co-captain of the team, crowning Pat Bowling as Football Queen of 1945. A downtown street rally followed the coronation, and half time services were held at the game. Following the game, the G.A.A. held the annual homecoming day football dance. This event is now firmly a part of C U H S, and we are sure that it will grow in meaning and ceremony as the years come and go.
