A coronation ceremony was held in the auditorium, with Richie Felix, co-captain of the team, crowning Pat Bowling as Football Queen of 1945. A downtown street rally followed the coronation, and half time services were held at the game. Following the game, the G.A.A. held the annual homecoming day football dance. This event is now firmly a part of C U H S, and we are sure that it will grow in meaning and ceremony as the years come and go.
