HORIZON CLUB 0 Making their debute in La Aurora this year are the De Anza and Palma Chapters of the Calexico Horizon Club. The Horizon Club is the High School branch of the National Campfire Association. The Palma group consists of freshmen, and it was headed this year by Patricia Vacher. The De Anza group, made up of sophomores, juniors and seniors. was headed by Mary Carroll. These girls specialized in Civic and Red Cross work. They also assist- ed thc local canteen for service men at every possible opportunity. Their Candle-light formal given in February was acclaimed one of the social highlights of the year. The groups were sponsored by Mrs. Consuelo Seymour.
