SENICJR PLAY 0 People who are interested in football should not have missed Brother Goose . It was whispered around school that this play was the real cause of our victory over El Centro on Thanksgiving Day. Not meaning to injure Coach Bogle's pride, but he almost admitted that those football plays tcopied from our playl was the turning point of the game. An older brother is the victim of this hilarious play. A younger brother, who always has a case of puppy love, and two younger sisters, one who is always writ- ing limericks, and the other one who is the neighborhoods star football player, makes life one continued round of worries. It seems he was father, mother, big brother, housekeeper, and wage-earner all rolled into one, until one day a charming young silk hosiery sales lady decides to take over the job as housekeeper. Life was grand indeed for older brother until a certain snobbish Bubble-gum Heiress decides to run his life to suit herself. With this plot in mind it can be seen why this play was a continuous series of laughs. In the end the Bubble-gum Heiress was duly disposed of and the charm- ing, young sales lady furnished the love interest of the play. The cast and all who helped to make this play a success deserve our praise. S P A N I S H C The Spanish Department of C.U.H.S. under the supervision of Mrs. Consuelo Seymour once again P L A Y presented to the' public a delightful Pan-American Day Program. The Program consisted of a speech on Pan-Americanism by Noami Villanueva: a four act comedy entitled 'ipata de Zorrau, which was taken from the novel of the same name by Hugo Wast, rewritten by the Spanish ll class: and beautiful Spanish dances were staged by Catalina E. Rodriguez.
