J U N I O R 0 The members of the Junior Class have been very active in stu- dent events this year. Their interest in school activities is partly due to the excellent guid- ance of their advisors, Mr. John Moore and Miss Lee Irvin. The Junior Valentine Dance was one of the highlights on the school Calendar this year. One of our Juniors, Henry Legaspi, was chairman of a temporary committee organized for the purpose of encouraging the beginning of a Calexico Youth Center. Under' his leadership, and with the cooperation of various school authorities, sev- GIRLS eral community groups were contracted in an effort to find the best means of Or- ganizing such 'a center. Many investigations, chieily by members or the Junior Class, have been made, and it is hoped that next year we will have a full-fledged Youth Center in Calexico. The Junior Class Play, He Borrowed a Wife , was a very successful enterprise from the standpoints of both student interest and class participation. In leaving C. U. H. S., the Seniors can be assured that these Juniors will uphold the tradition of all active Seniors. ojorque Mrrgr Burthett Feb1 Lent Josephine xabral Delia 1 tellrvros Ann Duly Mordecai D15 Je Ann Rlcr Fva Fastfrling Gloria Uetring Marg, It Gordon Ada Beth Gofi Juanita Gomez Mar y Jones Funlce hubler Mar y Lochar d Betty Lopez Melida Lucero Bertha Lumbr eraz Fmma Mandi apa Charlene 'VIor eno Ar mida Niyers Mary Jane Olsen Flor ence Pereyra V1 ginia Poulter Robt 1 t 1 Rubidoux Louise Tor r ez Aur eli 1 D rena Paula Vaea Sotor ro VVor thy Glori r ,. l . .,.,.a, 8 Nj., Q k'2'xt -,A r', , L 2 , ' l ' , A -' . 1 V.
