Calexico dropped its second game to Holtville 8 to 0. 9-School Assembly: Armistice Program. 23-Assembly Rally and lost to El Centro that night-13 to 6. 24-Senior Dance. 28-Assembly Rally for game with Brawley and four days thanks- giving vacation. 29-1Thanksgiving Dayl Calexico lost its last football game to , Brawley-champions for season. 10-Coach Covington returns for basketball season, having missed all of football season. 20-School Assembly included Christmas Program-10 days' vaca- tion. 4-Basketball game: Calexico 32--Holtville 22. 14-Basketball game: Central 31-Calexico 12. 18-Basketball game: Calexico 44-Imperial 7. 21-Iimmie Thomas, former high school student, killed in auto acci- dent. 28--Basketball game: Calexico 22-Calipatria 18. 4--Brawley beat Calexico hoopers 35-25 although Calexico was conceded second place. 12-Assembly consisted of speeches by members of Legion in com- memoration of Washington's and Lincoln's birthdays. 16-Biology class went to coast--bringing many specimens of the ocean for study. 21-Iunior Play- I Will, I Won't . 26-Senior Ditch Day at Lagunas. 8-G. A. A.: Girl Reserves, and Honor Society Dance at V, F. W. 9-Calexico's famed baseball team won from Imperial 27 to l in first league game. 15-Baseball game: Calexico 26-Calipatria l. 22-Baseball game: Calexico 8--Holtville l. 30-Baseball game: Calexico 19-Brawley 5. 18, 19, 20-Calexico will be represented at Pomona tournament. 25-Operetta at high school auditorium. 3-Iunior and Senior Prom at Hotel de Anza. 29-Commencement Exercises. 2--School closed with all seniors present.
