Nfatiioimal Honor Society The Psi Omega Chapter of National Honor Society has a membership of nineteen Seniors who were chosen from the upper third of their class according to scholastic rating. Other qualifications are: Leadership, Character, and Service to the school. Officers for the first semester were: Phyllis Westfall, Presidentg Dorothy Irvine, Vice-Presidentg Marilyn Hopper, Secretary, Clifford Abe, Treasurer. Psi Omega Chapter has a continuing project of building a film library for the use of the English department. At commencement time National Honor Society presents an award to an outstanding member of each class in the high school. In order to earn money for these projects, the members had concessions at some games and sponsored the selling of Student Courtesy Cards. In late February an evening initiation was held for the new members, at which parents and faculty were guests. We extend our humblest thanks to Mrs, Peterson, whose erlicient and able help made an or- ganization of which to be proud. Quill and Scirol Quill and Scroll is an International Society, composed of upperclassmen, who have done out- standing work in newspaper or yearbook and stand scholastically in the upper third of their class. The rnain activity of the year is the annual Publication Ball at which the Popularity King and Queen are crowned. C ' In the spring, a formal initiation was held, and new members were welcomed into the club. Officers for the year were Yvonne Cleveland, President, Milton Van Slyke, Vice-Presidentg and Norma Bates, Secretary-Treasurer. Thanks should go to Mrs. Pickett and lVIrs. Each boy has his choice of music, sports, library, hobbies, drnmatics, and Hi-Y.
