learning about yourself through friends, parties, good times, and late night talks . . . eating a McTitan burger between classes . . . remembering the campus without chimes . . . attempting to get your new address on the University com- puter records . . bringing your children to school ... a break during a night class and the donuts are sold out meeting at Jojos after class . . . reading the campus newspaper everyday but Monday . . . people watching in the quad not trusting elevators . . . pinball machines ... not having a quarter to get out of the pay lot and contemplating ramming the gate . . . drinking beer in the pub feeding the library xerox machine . attempting to get a racquetball court reservation . . . donating blood temporarily releas- ing the pressure of school by escaping into the world of Stark Trek . . . tacky, overpriced apartment buildings living below poverty level for four straight years and not qualifying for financial aid . . a six week winter recess . . . working all day and going to school at night not being able to walk across the quad without receiving a pamphlet or a sermon . . 12
