FOUR YEAR PLAYERS The Centura golf team returned three lettermen from 1987. The Varsity got second place and the reserves got first place at the Franklin Invitational meet. Lori Anderson, Tami Harders, Heather Simdorn, Monica Hargens, Daidrea Grim, Airika Nielsen. The Centura track team consisted of twenty-eight boys and twenty-one girls . They endured many practices not only to prepare for a meet but to attain per- sonal goals. During the year,the boys received a 2nd, a 3rd, a 4th, two 6th, and a 7th place, while the girls received three 1st, a 2nd, a 4th, and a 6th place. At the Conference meet in Loup City the boys received 9th and the girls took 4th. The teams went on to the District meet at Axtell where the boys finished 9th and the girls tied for 3rd. Out of the District meet there were nine members who qualified for State. Third place winners at State were both Jana Hochstetler and Jason Simdorn in the high jump.
