HARVEST OF HARMONY The 1986 Harvest of Harmony Parade was held on October 5th this year. The band chose Winona Heinzman to represent Centura in the competition for Harvest of Harmony Queen. The day began with interviews for all the candidates. The top ten finalists were chosen after all of the interviews had been completed. Among those chosen was our candidate, Winona. The rest of.the day was filled with fun, and that evening, at the banquet, the first and second runner’s-up and Queen were chosen. The next day was the parade with over two hundred bands and floats participating. Although it was cold, spirits remained high as Winona led the Marching Centurions through downtown Grand Island. MISS CENTURA: Winona Heinzman
