Ira Tu J 3'l J QCOI4 Manager, Coach Jerry Buckworth, Captain Reese Rigby, Coaches Newman and Jim Powell prepare for our football season. This year the Riders picked themselves up from the bottom and exhibiting a smooth if running offense and a rock bottom defense I A racked up five victories against three defeats 'SX and one tie. Our best record in years. High- light of the year was a 25-0 thtunping of Sea- ford, our first victory over them in 18 years. qs Other victories were recorded against Mil- ffl. Q . a -f- , f M ford, Jason, Lewes, and Laurel. The Riders fell to powerful Middletown and then dropped decisions to Smyrna and Georgetown. In the final game, thanks to a determined defense, . the Riders managed to tie arch-rival Dover. The Riders were led by a host of players who . gavetheir all in every game. Fourteen mem- bers ofthe team are seniors and will be sorely missed when the 1967 season opens.
