The Chapter at Caesar Rodney is under the leadership of Miss Sandra Dietrick. The club provides to students interested in teaching the opportunities, re- sponsibilities, and role of the teacher in our democracy. It offers the student an opportunity through practice teaching and student helper to learn first hand the many jobs performed by teachers. The club spon- sors many activities to stimulate interest in the program. These ac- tivities include student teaching, Bake Sales, American Field Service Day, Teaching Career Month, the Observation of American Education Week, and this year has helped in the Title I program here at Caesar Rodney. Every spring the members participate in the state-Wide FTA program at the University of Delaware. 109
