These students willingly give up their free time to serve as assistants in the library and thus relieve the Librarians to perform many of the other duties such as gathering research materials, acting as a resource center, disbursing teaching equipment, and ordering films, books, and other teaching aids. The members check out thou- sands of books each year and render invaluable serv- ices to the students and their school. As a member of the L. A. D., the Library Aides of Delaware, the students gain much experience in library work and gain knowledge from experiences and ideas exchanged at the Annual State Meeting for Librarians in the Spring. The Caesar Rodney Lettermans' Club is com- posed of letter winners in the many sports offered on the varsity level. Their job is to foster school spirit and an interestin the athletic program in the school. High-light of their year is their annual Let- termen Club vs. Faculty basketball game, with a dance that follows. This year, the Faculty againode- feated the Lettermen by the score of 53-39. Other activities include the sale of programs at the foot- ball games, the sale of refreshments at basketball, and to participate in all sports or to attend and cheer other members on. One important note in this year's membership is the large number of seniors, a wel- comed change over the last couple of years. The club is under the leadership of Mr. Richard Buck- ley, Athletic Director at Caesar Rodney. The of- ficers ofthe club are: Rick Jester .... . President Reese Rigby. . . ragga? Of' 9145 C116 A S fit The Office Workers Club is organized to extend the interests of the Secretarial Business to all girls, who strive to become some boss' right hand man . These girls do much to help in the smooth operation of the school office whose job grows and grows in proportion to our rising student population. The girls gain valuable training in typing, filing, recordkeep- ing, the use of the telephone, and various ma- chines. Highlight of the year has been the ef- ficient manner in which the girls have taken their role of Junior Secretary in the office. Activities include a Discotheque at the begin- ning ofthe school year and the typing of themes and term-papers for students. Membership has continued to grow . . . due largely to the wonderful opportunity to get practical exper- ience. Highlight of the year has been the Jimior Sec- retary of the Day . . .
