Throughout the past four seasons the girls have won thirty-six games and been defeated in only three contests, two of these seasons being undefeated ones. Sixteen members from the 1958 team that posted a 7-1 record will be returning to face action again this year. Of these sixteen returnees' seven were starters in the 1958 season. K, Baseball Last year Caesar Rodney High School's baseball team compiled a record of seven wins and Eve losses. On the first day of practice this year Coach Snyder was greeted by practically the same team that compiled that record. Bill Pickering and Orville Basinski were elected co-captains for the 1959 season. Veterans on the team include Penn Emer- son, outfielder, Ray Dawson, pitcher, Al Ford, infielder: Tom Joseph, infielderg Bill Pickering, pitcherg Ed Hardy. catcherg and Orville Basinski, outfielder. With these hold- overs and several promising newcomers the team is looking forward to one of the best years of baseball at Caesar Rodney.
