Senior Band During the football season, the band presents lively and intricate formations, routines and shows during halftime, as well as lending musical support to the Blue and Gold Riders on the gridiron. Concerts are presented at various times. In February the annual winter concert is presented. The senior band also plays an important part in the annual spring music festival. During the summer the band meets weekly for the preparation of the summer concert. On holi- days the band competes in parades which are held in many different parts of the state. The Band Parents Club is an organization made up of the parents of band members. Through the money making activities of this club the band is able to purchase new uniforms and supplies. I. II. H The Caesar Rodney Junior Band consists of qualified members from grades four through ten. It is the organization for the instrumental students who have reached the intermediate level of advancement and serves as a stepping-stone to the senior band. The junior band meets once a week and provides music for elementary assembly programs and certain community functions. Membership in this group usually numbers between fifty-five and sixty-five students.
