Members serve as technicians for all auditorium activities. Other duties in- clude keeping the stage clean and orderly, providing a public address system wherever needed and serving as movie projectionists. During inclement weather members are re- sponsible for the showing of movies in the auditorium at noon. The Mu Alpha Theta Math Club is new at Caesar Rodney, being chartered in December, 1958 by the National Council of Mathematics. The purpose of the club is to enrich the math program with activities for A and B Math students in Algebra II, Solid Geometry, and Trigonometry. The activi- ties of the club this year include a field trip to Tidewater Refinery Co., a visit to the drawing and designing rooms of the State Highway Department, a trip to the Dover Air Force Base to learn something about math and navigation, a field trip to the University of Delaware to observe freshman math classes, and a demonstrated talk on surveying and the use of the transit by a Civil Engineer.
