The activities of the Honor Society include tutoring students in grades 9-12, entertaining recent graduates and the high school faculty at a Christmas tea, conducting tapping and induction ceremonies for newly elected Junior members in March, arranging for the displays in the High School show case, participating in the opening exercises over the inter-com The Future Teachers of America Club. 1958-1959, has a membership of eighty-seven students who wish to leam more about teaching as a vocation. This is accomplished by work- ing one hour each week with a cooperating teacher. Members are sometimes called upon to take the place of the regular teacher in case of an emergency. The local club is afliiliated with the state F.T.A.
