Mrs. Sandra Simmons Bowen, Mrs. Susan Bronson Croft, and Mrs. Barbara Trahan Monk, teachers who came to Byrd at mid-term, stop to rest after a hard day of work. Mrs. Bowen teaches junior P.E., Mrs. Croft teaches junior English, and Mrs. Monk teaches sophomore English. Mrs. Wintle serves Mrs. Phillip Goode, a Caddo Parish school board member, and Mrs. Dorothy Cox, American History teacher, at the annual Homccoming Tea held by the Student Council. 25

Holding the title of Assistant Principal, he supervises all student elections, social events, attendance records, and dis- cipline. Mr. Ravenna, famous for his skill in rernem- bering the names of all of the students in the school and for his outstanding direction of fire drills, enjoys hunt- ing, gardening, and antiquing fumiture.
