Shreveport, November 28 A fired up Fair Park football team defeated Byrd's heavily ivored Yellow jackets 12-T before approximately 10,000 fans at -tale Fair Stadium on Thanksgiving day. The Jackets took the pening kickoff and marched to three first downs with Peatross nd Evers carrying. A penalty stopped the drive. and after an xeltange of punts liyrd had the ball once again on their own fl- yard line. Byrd got their hands on the ball again right at the end and tried a series of long passes, but a victory just wasn't in the book for the Jackets. Peatross was the top ground gainer for the jackets with 53 yards. Robert Davis played a tremendous defensive game, recovering fumbles and being in on a number of tackles.
