Millis. Footwork and sweat and drills and more footwork . . . the J'V team spends its season grooming for the next. Every member of the team Worked diligently to maintain and improve their scoring ability. Team standing and individual standing are the criterion for future challenges to opponents on avarsitylevel. EVGTY team member looks forward to action on the court, for experience against the opponent is in itself an excellent leader. Team co-ordination, manual dexterity, alertness, and discipline are painfully acquired by each ball player in a.n attempt to better himself. Hopkins, M. 21 , - 8 This was a building year for Byron-Bergen's varsity basketball team. It was the best season since 1960, with a great deal of promise for next season. A big majority of ' ' d ext ear. the team were sophomores and juniors who will be returning to the boar s n y ohnson with 143 points, sophomores Mark Pask with 118, and Larry Speed and Daryl Swarts with 109 and 99 points respectively.
