High school music is one of the most recognized groups on campus. f They 'rc' the ones that dress up in tuxes and dresses and sing, so well get out of classl No, seriously, this class is full of some ofthe most dedicated, hard working, and talented kids on campus. They par- ticipate in numerous con- ICSIS as well as concerts Rnr the community as well as for the school. A typical year for music starts out with hard work from day one to prepare for Hall Con- cert and Little Dilvie Chorus festival. Alter Little Dixie, they drag our the Christmas music hir their Christmas Concert for the school. When they return aher the first of the year, it Qs time to buckle down to some seri- ous theory study and prep- aration for District Contest, Aher District, the groups and solos who made a rating of' 1 at District continue on to State Contest. Along with the polishing hir com- petition material. the Spring Concert is being pulled to- gether. After the final per- formance of' the Spring Concert. there are a few per. cious weeks for leisure fun.
