Music Mania ll Central Book Mark Balthrop, senrog is interested in jazz and classical instrumental music. Through the years he has won various awards playing his trumpet at BHS. This is the second year he has been chosen for the state lair band. His accomplishment this year has been writing a melody for the state hir band. He has also arranged brass ensembles for the high school band. Mark is now a member ofthe Oklahoma Youth Orchestra. Aker graduation, he will be going to Australia, New Zealand, and the Hji Islands on a tour with the Youth Orchestra. His plans are to go to college and major in music, teach music for two years in a public school, then go back and get a masters degree in music!
