Future Business Leaders Of America I spent many hours of studying the accounting book both on and off campus. The day finally arrived. Each FBLA chapter in the state sent its top two students to com- pete in the event. Confident that I had done my best, I placed the F636 on the table, walked from the room, and patiently awaited the awards assembly. At the assembly the top ten students were called to the stage in random order. The placings were then announced be- ginning with tenth and proceeding to first. Hearing my name called as , first-place winner in the whole I state in Accounting I was indeed l an awesome feeling. Because of my first place win, the state FBLA or- ganization will pay for my expenses to the National FBLA Leadershnn Conference In Anaheim, California, july 1-4. While I am there, I will take another test. This time, though, Ill be com ting against the top two people rom each state. Winning state really hghlrghted my academic life at Byng, however state is only a beginning. Nation- als, HERE I COME!
