-AK-1 Within the last half century civilization has, experienced two major Wars, a police action'i with millions of casualties, a prolonged de- pression, inflation, labor troubles and rapid changes in political and moral inclinations and attitudes. We have not only increased man's life ex- pectancy, but have developed ways of killing him more efficiently. While part of the world struggles through malnutrition and even phys- ical hunger, great have been our technical ac- complishments--meager our social advances. As H. G. Wells so wisely said, Human History becomes more and more a race between educa- tion and catastrophe. Get in the race! IRVIN W.
