Student Union opens and closes regularly The only thing new in the Student Union this year is the new editions of the magazines, one student re- marked. Same old food, same old music, and the same old quiz shows on the controlled TV. We need to have the Union open and operating more hours for the dorm students to have something to do, was another remark. (The Student Union closes down every day from three until seven in the evening.) In spite of the complaints the Snack Bar and the cafeteria thronged with students each day. Students could be found getting away from it all in the snack bar any hour of the day or night that the bar is open, playing pool, ping pong, Foosball, or the pin ball machines. In addition to the eating places, a book store, a TV lounge room, and the athletic offices were places of activity in the Union throughout the school year. ' ■ ' . •■ ' ' ■
