Nursing Department Increases Staff Strenuous study and hard work enabled the nursing stu- dents to perform well in spite of many miles of commuting to hospital facilities in Newton and Wichita, as well as in El Dorado. The addition of two staff members, Janet Bahr and Mi- chael Goodwin, enhanced the offering of the department. Students received clinical in- struction from surgeons, learned laboratory procedures from leading technicians, and acquired specialized help in practical medicine from expe- rienced members in the medi- cal field. Mike Goodwin, instructor, and student Sandy Luscombe aid patient Mrs. Shupp. 30 Campus Community «» . ! T- Students observe and participate in surgery procedure. ■ ' ■ ■:■:■■ ' ' ..:■■.
