Publication staff members making paste-ups of pages for Lantern copy in the Times work room are Mike Corn, Amy Razey, Susanna Hutcheson, Danny Creed, and John King. r; |: The Lantern Staff Increased enrollment in the journalism department for the year has produced an enlarged newspaper with greater departmentalization. Added to the regular sections have been those in arts and review and in so- ciety, as well as additional feature stories. Students write, edit, and make up the newspaper, of which 1,800 copies - more than some small town weeklies - are printed on a web offset press. The staff received for the 1971 spring semester pub- lication a first class honor rating from the National Critical Service of Associated Collegiate Press, of which it is a member. No higher award is granted on score book points alone. Marks oi ' distinction were editorial writing and news writing-editing.
