Student Council Membership Increased to Meet Added Responsibilities ONE OF THE INITIAL objectives of this year ' s student council has been to increase the membership of the council for activities and responsibilities related to the completed campus. Additional representatives from the two classes have made up most of the increase of membership. The business of the student council includes sponsoring the major social all -school events such as the winter and spring proms and homecoming, the control and review of parking regula- tions, and the cordination of activities of all campus organizations . The Council also serves as the liaison be- tween the student body and the administration. The council holds an active member- ship in the Kansas Public Junior College Student Council Association with Phil Olsen serving as vice -president and Linda Phares as secretary -treasurer.
