Nursing First Class Completes Training NURSING STUDENTS in the first class at Butler County Community College will qualify, at the end of the semester, to write the state board examinations. The nursing department, located in the 300 vocational building, is equipped with hospital facilities for the study of bedside care. Actual clinical experience is received in various nursing areas at the Sedgwick County Hospital and Clinic, Wichita; the Prairie View Mental Health Center, Newton; and the Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital, El Dorado. Additional experience is gained by visiting various community resources, such as nursery schools, mental health centers, Red Cross rooms and ambulance services.
