Science and Math Expanded facilities Increase science offering STRONG SCIENCE and mathema- tics departments are essential in any- liberal arts institution. These depart- ments at Butler County Community Junior College meet the needs not only of students who major in these fields, but also of those who are majoring in other areas. The science department offers both physical and biological science and sponsors a science club. Courses in mathematics vary from modern math to calculus. The science department is housed in the science wing of the sci- ence-academic complex and includes a lecture hall which seats ninety. The mathematics classes are held in the ac- ademic wing of the building. BOTANICAL GREENHOUSE explained to Juco students by Mr. Fuller CHEMISTRY STUDENTS learn the basic elements of proper laboratory procedures. MR. One additional instructor and five new courses increased the offerings this year and resulted in a greatly enlarged enrollment in the business department under the direction of Mr. McKinney.
