Many who dreamed and work- ed for an adequate plant for the upper division work of the El Dorado Schools now feel that thrill, and satisfaction as the new El Dorado Junior College—Senior High School building nears com- pletion. This fine structure, three stories high, of red brick and cement, artistically designed covers the major part of an entire block. It is built in the form of a hollow square and an abun- dance of light floods every room through the large, closely set windows, reaching to the very ceilings of the rooms. The light- ing is further enhanced by the white, rough finish walls and the ivory celotex paneled ceilings. An abundance of artificial light- ing is also provided. The rooms are heated and ventilated by ait. automatic system. The floors are covered with neatly patterned linoleum. Everything is so simple, practical, and sensible in the rooms that an im- pression of beauty results. Fifty rooms in which instruction can be carried on will be ri:v::|.e.
