Building Administrators Rollin Cunningham Athletic Director Discliplinarian The students of City High are gener- ally well behaved and respectful of authority. However, the complex, problems that face our society are reflected in the problems that face our student population as well. As old ones diminish, new ones sur- face. Effective cooperation and communication is essential in deal- ing with these problems and situa- tions. Our youth must realize the damage that apathy perpetuates and rededicate their commitment to productive citizenship. Our athletic teams are to be com- mended once again for maintaing City's fine tradition. Our teams ex- hibit good sportsmanship and ethi- cal standards when competing. I'm proud of our kids. They repre- sent us well. Mr. Dennis Corbett has been ap- pointed Vice Principal of Burling- ton City High School and Wilbur Watts Middle School after 17 years in the classroom. He works at the Middle School in the mornings and at the High School durinq the second half of the day. The students and facutly con- gratulate Mr. Corbett and wish him well as he embarks on a ca- reer in educational administra- tion. Mr. Dennis Corbett Vice Principal

Your teachers and administrators have prepared you well to assume your new roles. We have not tried to give you the factual an- swers to all of the problems and new challenges that you will encounter during your lives, for indeed, this would be both impractical and impossible.
