Academic students are required to com- plete successfully algebra and plane geometry. Further work can be done in a second year of algebra or a year of advanced math, involving trigonometry and solid geometry. General Math II and basic mathematics are offered to students in the business course. These involve a review of math as it will be useful in everyday life after school years. MR. Burlington Senior High makes courses in biolo- gy, physics, and chemistry available to any student who wishes to take them. In biology class students study the composition of all living things. Relationships between var- ious forms of matter are discussed in the physics classes. Chemistry deals with the make-up and changes in all sub- stances.
