MR. JOHN G. MAHER Activities Director and Disciplinarian Biartplmctrtan Bircrtor of ArtUntu's. Mrs. Eleanor Lucas and Miss Nancy Ridgway are the jacks of all trades in the main school office. They do their work smilingly. The smooth functioning of the day to day opera- tion of Burlington Senior High School is directly the result of the careful planning that Mr. Dotti and Mr. Maher put into their administrative re- sponsibilities. Mr. Maher as Director of Activities is the coordi- nator of the many club and organization activities which would be in conflict without his supervision. There is little need for many students to receive Mr. Maher's personal attention as School Discipli- narian because of school rules infractions. Those who do, profit from Mr. Maher's personal interest. Competently, he keeps the gears meshing and the wheels turning at BSHS.

MR. ROBERT F. DOTTI Principal Burlington Senior High School These trophies, scrolls, and plaques were won not only on the athletic field and in the gymnasium but also in competition with other schools in dramatics, publications, participation in statewide activities, and local community organizations. Mr. Dotti's keen interest in leading BSHS to the top in all phases of school life will be the strongest memory the Class of 1965 will have of him as our principal. |Jrmripal Memories of our high school days are long remembered as we go through life. Each class reunion brings back fond re- collections of the wonderful experiences we have had. The Class of 1965 may be very proud of the record it has written in the Burlington Senior High School history book. May the memories of your school al- ways be pleasant and your loyalty true.

fflejmrtment Ijreahs These Department Heads play an important part in help- ing to carry out the administrative functions in our school. Not only do they actively participate in teaching, but each heads a department vital to the four-course curriculum offered at BSHS. Their duties cover a host of responsibilities. Some of these are the following: they supervise the teachers assign- ed to each department, they introduce curriculum changes, they investigate the practicality of new text books and new techniques in their subject areas, they coordinate the sub- ject area program in the school system, and, in general, they are very close to the educational growth of the stu- dents.
