MR. ROBERT T. SHAW During our travels on the train of progress in Burlington High School, we met a person who has inspired us in our efforts to create a successful class. It was on our third big trip that we, the class of 1954, met Mr. Shaw. Throughout this trip, which we shall call our junior year, Mr. Shaw was our advisor and counselor. His sympathy and understanding aided us immensely in our academic pursuits and in our extra-curricular activities; it was he who worked long and hard to make our class play and our Junior-Senior Prom the successes that they were. To this unforgettable teacher and friend for his untiring efforts and interests, we dedicate the 1954 Heirloom.
