WHtlllllHHHllWHlllilWHHHNWWHHHHlllllllillIlillllllllllll l-J W zeefing' ' 'Tis education forms the common mind: lust as the twig is bent the tree's inc1ined. EDUCATION . . . think of it a moment, so many of us do not realize the full extent ot the word. When Alexander Pope wrote these lines, his thoughts weren't limited to stu dents such as we, passing from one class to another carrying the heavy burden of schoolwork, for we are inclined to think of it as a burden. But no there are other kinds of education, far more important than school books can ever be. With every experience bitter or joyiulg with every disappointment, whether it be our own fault or someone else'sp with every unexpected pleasure: we learn a great lesson. Not a lesson to be forgotten and trampled on at some later date, but one to be cherished so that it can become profitable at the time when it is needed most. Many ot these lessons are gained from experiences which are a part oi our school lite. Perhaps in the future this yearbook will bring back memories which will help promote success in whatever activities we may wish to undertake in our lives. May they always remain . . .
